 Great news, everyone at Joon Lee's Tae Kwon Do! Our very own Master Joon Lee has been invited to the 2026 Chicago Convention put on by the U.S. Taekwondo Grandmasters Society (USTGS), where Master Lee will be honored during a special evening banquet and awards ceremony.
Event Overview The banquet and ceremony are happening April 11 at the Sheraton Suites Chicago O’Hare in Rosemont, IL (6501 Mannheim Road). Key Highlight The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Banquet on Saturday, April 11—kick off with cocktails at 5:30pm, then the 7:00pm black-tie dinner (tuxedo, dark suit, formal or professional attire) and the 8:00-10:00pm ceremony in the Sheraton Grand Ballroom, with group photos to wrap it up. Myong-in Award The "Myong-in" (명인) award means "Master" or "Virtuoso" in Korean—it's the 6th edition at this convention, celebrating top grandmasters for their leadership, skills, and huge contributions to Taekwondo, it's a true hall-of-fame nod.
